Enhanced Limit Category Sorting Feature
A feature in the limit category editor that allows users to sort options alphabetically is now available.

This will help when managing numerous limit categories, such as the ‘Construction Code’ category. The sorting is visual only and will not change the order of options stored in the database. A tooltip on the sorting button states, “Sort rows alphabetically. This will NOT affect the ordering of options for technicians in the app."

Manual Override of Crack Severity
Allows users to manually change the severity of cracks in the app by clicking a pencil icon next to the severity label. This change is processed automatically, requiring no adjustments on the builder side.

Admin users can see if the severity has been manually changed, and a warning icon will appear in the customer portal and work order audit reports to indicate these changes, displaying the original severity and the user who made the adjustment. This enhancement simplifies crack severity management while tracking any modifications.

Enhanced Missed Point Functionality

We’ve improved the missed point functionality to make managing structural inspections easier. The feature now supports the automatic creation of missed cracks when an entire step is marked as ‘not done.’

Key updates:

  • You can now mark an entire step as ‘missed’ which automatically creates a missed crack for that step.
  • If there are existing cracks, they will all be marked as ‘missed.’
  • Updates to cracks are reflected in the customer portal.

This enhancement simplifies marking steps as incomplete while ensuring accurate reporting.

Report Crack Name Change Update

We have updated the report format to improve clarity in the final reports by including more detailed information about defect orientation and location.

Details of the Update:

  • The report will now pull data from both the Region Name and Description fields in the Position Codes area, instead of just the Description field.
  • It applies to both live and PDF versions of the reports.

Note: This is a visual update only—no changes have been made to the data structure.

Work Order Clone Feature
A new Clone Task functionality has been added, allowing users to quickly duplicate IN-type work orders. This feature streamlines the process of creating separate reports for similar items tested within a batch, saving time and effort by copying all relevant data while allowing customizations on a per-task basis.

Restrictions

  • The clone task feature is exclusive to IN-type work orders. Other types are not supported.
  • Work orders with any attached NDT requests cannot be cloned.
  • Users can clone only one work order at a time to avoid duplication errors or conflicts.

Hide History Button from Limits in App

This hides the step limit history feature specifically for BV users. This ensures that teams no longer see the step limit history while the feature remains available for other users who rely on it.

Added office name when selecting tools in App

With this, users can now create work orders that include a data select limit for choosing tools and equipment. This ensures more streamlined selection processes and prevents excessive or irrelevant data entries during work order creation.

When selecting tools or equipment in a work order, the office name of each piece of equipment is now displayed alongside the item. This makes it easier to identify the correct equipment based on its assigned office location, improving the accuracy of selection.
