Limits have a requirement to complete an action when completing the job steps on the mobile app. Limits that can be selected in Builder and presented on the mobile app include:
- Recording a value or range of values for a particular unit of measure (UoM).
- Record text additional to a defect, note, or hazard in a text box.
- Feedback on acceptance of the task including a checkbox, pass/fail or selection of a condition from a user defined button list or value list.
- Taking a photo of the condition or validation.
- Recording multiple of the above via a table.
- Presenting a 3D image to display and rotate the graphical image for recording defects.
The following is a guide to how limits are presented on the app when selected in the builder. For MS Word document formats these are customised through the client specific output template.

| Pass/Fail | Select Pass/Fail if indication is required on the asset. The Limit Description should indicate what the given criteria is for the task. In the app, tap on the result. A Fail result will pop up the defect entry form. |  |
